On 7 October 2020, Vlerick Business School launched the ‘Centre for Financial Leadership & Digital Transformation’ in partnership with BDO Belgium and BDO Global and together with KBC and Allianz. The Centre aims to take the finance department to a higher level by sharing and creating insights and knowledge on how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, blockchain and related technologies are transforming the finance world. It wants to provide CFO’s with a broad knowledge of the risks and advantages of these new technologies and how they can be applied in and even outside the finance function in your own business management. The Centre is a practical community for every CFO wanting to go forward digitally and lead his or her company to a digital future.
