Financial performance of the transport industry

On behalf of UPTR (Union Professionnelle du Transport et de la Logistique), BDO performs a yearly analysis of the financial performance and structure of the transport industry. Based on financial ratios extracted from the statutory accounts of transportation and logistics companies, BDO benchmarked 5 key financial ratios (liquidity, solvency, EBITDA margin, return on equity or ROE, and added value per employee) and analyzed their evolution since 2010. Most of these ratios show a steady improvement between 2010 and 2016, and have been stagnating over the last 2 years.
