Valuation of Tenue de Ville, a Belgian luxury wallpaper brand with exclusive patterns

In the context of a contemplated shareholding reorganization, BDO has conducted a valuation analysis of the brand Tenue de Ville (and its operating company).

Tenue de Ville is a Belgian high-end brand of wallpapers, launched in 2014 by the designer and artist Alexia de Ville de Goyet. The independent label offers exclusive patterns with no commercial standards, with production being part of local and environmental approach.

For the valuation of the brand, our approach consisted mainly in Relief from Royalty method, historical costs as well as direct benchmarking of luxury labels.

The client described BDO team as dynamic and responsive, with output meeting fully expectations. On top, the client highlighted the humanity and pedagogy of the relationship.
