Bert joined BDO in 2008 after 16 years of experience with PwC. As audit partner, he has ample experience in dealing with large international groups, some of which are Belgian companies quoted on either Nasdaq or Euronext. For some of them he also assisted in the IPO process. Furthermore, he is used to deal with complex accounting matters and high quality reporting to audit committees and board of directors. Besides CPA, Bert is a Registered Forensic Auditor. He is acting as guest professor at various business schools and is teaching in a number of entrepreneurship programs (ELAT, Leuven.Inc, …). Within BDO Belgium, Bert acts as International Liaison Partner, being responsible for the relations with the worldwide BDO network, and as lead partner for the Technology & Lifesciences practice.
