Erik heads up BDO’s Real Estate & Construction practice (REC) across the Belgian organisation. Within Corporate Finance he is also responsible for the Financing Advisory & Modelling (FAM) team. In this capacity, he is involved in many real estate development and infrastructure projects, project finance, Public-Private Partnerships and model auditing, as well as in providing business planning and financing solutions (equity, mezzanine and debt), restructurings and refinancings. His clients include real estate developers, construction and maintenance companies, healthcare organizations, cities and other public agencies. As a project finance expert, Erik has been involved in many of the larger infrastructure PPP schemes, including social housing, elderly homes, roadways, tramlines, sports halls, swimming pools, police stations, prisons and renewable energy such as biomass, solar and wind farms.
