Erwin started his professional career in 1997 with a Big 4 Tax Consultancy firm and joined BDO in 2004. Through the years Erwin has developed particular skills in VAT in respect of several European and non-European countries. As VAT specialist, Erwin is involved in advising (inter)national companies and public authorities and the development and follow-up of new service offerings within BDO Belgium. He also gathered specific knowledge on car taxation in a national and international context.Erwin is also member of the Board of Directors at BDO and is a member of the International VAT Centre of Excellence of BDO. Furthermore, he is the author of a number of publications and has participated in various seminars on these subjects.
