Karen holds a Master of Laws and a Master of Notarial Laws, both received from Catholic University of Louvain. She joined BDO Belgium in 1999 and is now head of their legal services department, and member of the Board of Directors. Her professional experience consists of legal practice as a legal adviser, specialized in national and international corporate matters, transactions, and commercial contracts. She has developed an experience in a wide range of industries such as real estate, manufacturing and retail, and in different types of enterprises from family owned businesses and SMEs to international companies.
