Koen is partner responsible for the Risk & Assurance Services department of BDO Belgium, and has 18 years experience in internal audit, IT audit, risk management, internal control, third party assurance and corporate governance (amongst them 9 years in a Big Four Office). Being a certified Information Systems auditor (CISA) since 2000, Koen has performed and lead over 200 internal and IT audits in wide variety of domains and industries. Koen has the degree of Civil Engineer in Mechatronics (K.U.Leuven), Master Business Administration (Université d’Aix-Marseille) and Middle Management Program of Vlerick Business School.
